Storexio Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) governs the access to and use of the website, application, software, hosted platform, merchant dashboard, storefront tools, messaging tools, integrations, and related services made available under the brand Storexio (collectively, the “Services”).
Storexio is an application operated by Mehdi Ghazlavi Electronic L.L.C., registered in the United Arab Emirates under registration / licence number 1592588 (“Company”, “Storexio”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
This Policy forms part of the Storexio Terms & Conditions and must be read together with the Privacy Policy, Refund / Cancellation Policy, any applicable merchant terms, and any separate written agreement between you and Storexio.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to comply with this Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
1. Purpose of this Policy
The purpose of this Policy is to protect:
- the lawful operation of the Services;
- Merchants, customers, visitors, and third parties;
- Storexio’s technology, infrastructure, reputation, and business relationships;
- compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the United Arab Emirates and other relevant jurisdictions.
Storexio is a technology platform. To maintain platform integrity, Storexio reserves the right to monitor for misuse, restrict risky activity, remove prohibited content, suspend access, and terminate accounts that violate this Policy or create legal, regulatory, security, or reputational risk.
2. Who Must Comply
This Policy applies to:
- all account holders;
- Merchants using Storexio to create or manage online stores;
- staff users, administrators, and sub-users;
- persons uploading, posting, publishing, transmitting, or storing content through the Services;
- persons using Storexio-powered storefronts, forms, chat features, or communication tools;
- any person who accesses the Services or attempts to interact with Storexio systems.
You are responsible for ensuring compliance by your employees, agents, contractors, representatives, affiliates, and any user acting under your account or authority.
3. General Use Standard
You may use the Services only for lawful, honest, authorized, and legitimate business purposes.
You must not use the Services in any way that:
- violates any applicable law, regulation, licence condition, court order, or government requirement;
- infringes any third-party right;
- is fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, defamatory, threatening, or harmful;
- endangers consumers, users, or the public;
- interferes with the security, integrity, availability, or performance of the Services;
- exposes Storexio or others to regulatory, legal, commercial, or reputational harm.
UAE official sources identify cybercrime, data protection, electronic transactions, and consumer protection as part of the legal framework governing online conduct and digital business activity. ([U.AE][2])
4. Prohibited Illegal or Harmful Activity
You must not use Storexio to engage in, promote, facilitate, or support any illegal or harmful activity, including:
- fraud, scams, impersonation, or deceptive commercial practices;
- money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or unlawful financial activity;
- identity theft or misuse of personal information;
- phishing, credential harvesting, or social-engineering activity;
- unauthorized collection or surveillance of users or customers;
- creation, storage, or transmission of unlawful or abusive digital content;
- publication of false statements, rumors, or unlawful online material;
- hacking, intrusion, denial-of-service activity, malware distribution, or attempts to compromise digital systems;
- unlawful gambling, unlawful financial solicitation, or regulated activity without licence;
- any activity that could reasonably be treated as cybercrime, unlawful digital conduct, or unlawful commercial conduct.
UAE official sources state that Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on combating rumors and cybercrimes is aimed at protecting society, government websites, and data from online offences, and they separately maintain a UAE cyber-laws resource covering online legal rules. ([U.AE][3])
5. Prohibited Products and Services
You must not use the Services to market, list, sell, distribute, facilitate, or promote products or services that are illegal, counterfeit, dangerous, restricted without proper authorization, or otherwise prohibited under applicable law.
This includes, without limitation, the following categories where unlawful, unlicensed, unsafe, or non-compliant:
- counterfeit or infringing goods;
- stolen goods or unlawfully acquired property;
- unsafe consumer products;
- products subject to mandatory approvals where you do not hold the required approvals;
- unlawful medical products, unlawful pharmaceuticals, or prescription products sold without authorization;
- illegal narcotics, controlled substances, or prohibited intoxicants;
- tobacco, vaping, or nicotine products where sale or promotion is unlawful or non-compliant;
- weapons, ammunition, explosives, or hazardous items where prohibited or unlicensed;
- unlawful surveillance tools or malicious software;
- fraudulent documents, forged certificates, or fake licences;
- products or services that infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or consumer rights;
- any other item that Storexio reasonably determines to be prohibited, unsafe, unlawful, or incompatible with the platform.
Storexio may require proof of licence, authorization, origin, or compliance for categories that present elevated legal or consumer risk.
6. Consumer Protection and Fair Dealing
You must not use the Services in a way that misleads or harms consumers.
Without limitation, you must not:
- make false, misleading, or deceptive statements about products, services, pricing, discounts, quality, origin, approval status, warranty, or delivery time;
- hide material terms, conditions, charges, or restrictions;
- advertise goods you do not intend to supply;
- misrepresent availability, stock, or delivery capability;
- manipulate reviews, ratings, or testimonials;
- operate bait-and-switch promotions;
- refuse to honor clearly stated commitments without lawful basis;
- otherwise engage in unfair, abusive, or misleading commercial conduct.
UAE official guidance identifies consumer protection as a core legal protection in commerce and notes that consumer data is also protected under the relevant framework. ([U.AE][1])
7. Privacy and Personal Data Misuse
You must not collect, use, process, disclose, sell, rent, or otherwise exploit Personal Data through Storexio except as lawful and necessary for legitimate business purposes.
You must not:
- collect more Personal Data than is reasonably necessary;
- use customer data for undisclosed purposes;
- use customer data for unlawful direct marketing;
- disclose customer data to unauthorized third parties;
- upload unlawfully obtained contact lists;
- scrape or harvest user or customer data from the platform;
- combine platform data with other datasets in a way that violates law or privacy rights;
- instruct Storexio to process Personal Data unlawfully.
UAE official guidance states that the federal consumer-protection framework protects consumer data and prohibits suppliers from using it for marketing in that context, and separately identifies the UAE personal-data protection framework, with distinct regimes in DIFC and ADGM. ([U.AE][1])
8. Messaging, Spam, and Promotional Abuse
If Storexio provides chat tools, order notifications, bulk communication tools, or integrations with email, SMS, or messaging platforms, you must use them lawfully and responsibly.
You must not:
- send spam, junk messages, or unsolicited mass communications;
- use purchased, scraped, or unlawfully obtained contact lists;
- send misleading promotional messages;
- disguise the sender identity or origin of communications;
- send messages that harass, threaten, defame, or deceive recipients;
- continue marketing to recipients who have opted out where opt-out rights apply;
- use Storexio communications features in a way that violates platform rules of WhatsApp, email providers, SMS providers, or other third-party communication channels.
9. Content Standards
All content submitted to or displayed through the Services must be lawful, accurate, and appropriate for commercial publication.
You must not upload, publish, or transmit content that:
- is false, defamatory, obscene, abusive, hateful, threatening, or discriminatory;
- infringes copyright, trademark, patent, trade-secret, or other intellectual-property rights;
- violates confidentiality or privacy obligations;
- includes malware, malicious code, tracking code, or harmful scripts;
- promotes unlawful conduct;
- impersonates a person, brand, authority, or organization;
- is otherwise objectionable in Storexio’s reasonable judgment.
Storexio may remove or disable access to content without prior notice where it reasonably believes the content violates this Policy, applicable law, or third-party rights.
10. Intellectual Property Abuse
You must not use the Services to infringe or misuse intellectual-property rights.
Prohibited conduct includes:
- uploading copied product images, logos, text, or media without authorization;
- listing counterfeit, replica, or infringing goods;
- using another party’s trade name or trademark deceptively;
- copying Storexio’s software, layouts, code, branding, or protected materials beyond permitted use;
- removing proprietary notices, copyright notices, or attribution where legally required.
Storexio may suspend listings, disable stores, or terminate repeat infringers.
11. Security Abuse and Technical Misuse
You must not:
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services without written authorization;
- attempt unauthorized access to any account, network, server, API, database, or administrative interface;
- bypass authentication, access controls, rate limits, or technical restrictions;
- use bots, scripts, crawlers, or automation in a manner that burdens or disrupts the Services;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code except where non-waivable law allows it;
- interfere with other users’ access or experience;
- introduce malware, ransomware, spyware, trojans, or malicious payloads;
- use the Services as infrastructure for attacks, redirection, data exfiltration, or harmful distribution.

12. Platform Integrity and Operational Abuse
You must not use the Services in a way that unfairly manipulates or undermines platform operations, including:
- creating fake accounts or duplicate accounts for deceptive purposes;
- abusing free plans, trial plans, discount schemes, credits, or referral programs;
- manipulating billing logic, subscriptions, or renewal mechanics;
- creating fake orders, fake traffic, fake reviews, or false business metrics;
- using the Services to launder reputation, hide identity, or evade prior enforcement;
- reselling or sublicensing access to the Services without written authorization.
13. Regulated and High-Risk Activities
Certain industries, products, or services may require additional review, prior approval, enhanced verification, contractual controls, or may be refused entirely.
Storexio may treat the following as high risk:
- health-related products or claims;
- cosmetics, supplements, or ingestible goods;
- financial services or financial solicitation;
- high-volume consumer sales with refund risk;
- age-restricted goods;
- cross-border or customs-sensitive goods;
- products subject to import, conformity, or safety approvals;
- sectors involving strong privacy or data sensitivity;
- any category that may trigger significant legal, consumer, reputational, fraud, or chargeback risk.
Storexio may request additional information, licences, corporate records, identity verification, product documentation, or compliance assurances before permitting continued use.
14. Compliance With Third-Party Provider Rules
If you use Storexio together with payment processors, social-media platforms, app stores, courier services, messaging providers, analytics tools, or similar third-party services, you must also comply with their applicable terms, policies, and technical requirements.
Storexio may suspend or limit integrations or account features where your conduct causes, or is likely to cause, violation of third-party provider rules or disruption of third-party services.
15. Monitoring and Investigation
Storexio may, to the extent permitted by law and its contractual rights:
- review content, listings, communications metadata, and account activity;
- investigate suspected violations of this Policy;
- request information, documents, licences, or clarification from users;
- remove content, disable listings, or limit functionality;
- suspend or terminate accounts;
- preserve records relevant to disputes, enforcement, or legal compliance;
- report suspected unlawful activity to competent authorities where appropriate.

16. Enforcement Actions
If Storexio determines, in its sole but reasonable discretion, that you have violated this Policy or created unacceptable risk, Storexio may take one or more of the following actions:
- issue a warning;
- request corrective action;
- remove or edit content;
- disable affected listings or products;
- restrict messaging or promotional features;
- require enhanced verification or documentation;
- suspend account access;
- terminate the account;
- block related accounts or future registrations;
- withhold or deny refunds to the extent allowed by contract and law;
- cooperate with law-enforcement, regulators, or rights holders.
Storexio is not obliged to provide advance notice where immediate action is reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, consumer protection, or platform integrity.
17. Reporting Violations
If you believe that a user, Merchant, store, product, or content item violates this Policy, you may report it to Storexio by providing:
- the name of the account, store, or Merchant;
- the relevant URL, screenshot, or identifying information;
- the nature of the suspected violation;
- any supporting documentation.
Storexio may request further information before acting.
18. No Waiver of Other Rights
Storexio’s failure to enforce this Policy in a particular case does not waive our right to enforce it later or in other cases.
Actions taken under this Policy are in addition to, and not in place of, any other rights or remedies available under the Terms & Conditions, contract, or applicable law.
19. Changes to this Policy
Storexio may update this Policy from time to time. Updated versions become effective when posted or otherwise communicated, unless a later date is stated.
Continued use of the Services after the effective date of an updated Policy constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
