Storexio

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Storexio Refund / Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: 20/04/2026
Last Updated: 20/04/2026

This Refund / Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) explains the rules governing cancellations, subscription termination, refunds, credits, billing reversals, and related payment matters for the services provided under the brand Storexio.

Storexio is an application operated by Mehdi Ghazlavi Electronic L.L.C., registered in the United Arab Emirates under registration / licence number 1592588 (“Company”, “Storexio”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

This Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, the Storexio Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, any applicable order form, subscription plan, service proposal, or separate written agreement.

By purchasing, subscribing to, renewing, or using any paid Storexio service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Purpose and Scope

This Policy applies to:

  • paid subscriptions for Storexio plans;
  • recurring billing arrangements;
  • one-time setup, onboarding, implementation, migration, or customization fees;
  • paid add-ons, premium modules, and optional features;
  • account upgrades and downgrades;
  • plan cancellations and service termination;
  • refund requests submitted by users, merchants, or business customers of Storexio.

This Policy does not automatically govern refunds or cancellations between a Merchant using Storexio and that Merchant’s own end customers, unless Storexio expressly states otherwise in writing. Storexio is a platform provider and, unless otherwise agreed, is not the contracting seller in transactions between a Merchant and its customers. The UAE’s official e-commerce guidance describes online commerce as part of the regulated business environment, and UAE official consumer-protection guidance confirms that consumer rights protections apply in commercial dealings. ([U.AE][2])

2. General Principle

Except where required by applicable law, expressly stated in a separate written agreement, or approved by Storexio in writing, payments made to Storexio are non-refundable once charged.

This rule is intended to apply in particular to:

  • subscription charges for an active billing period;
  • setup or onboarding fees once work has begun or resources have been allocated;
  • custom development or configuration fees;
  • third-party pass-through costs;
  • domain, messaging, hosting, or integration costs incurred for your account;
  • partially used service periods.

This Policy is drafted to sit within the UAE consumer-protection and electronic-transactions framework for digital business activity. ([U.AE][1])

3. Free Plans and Free Trials

If Storexio offers a free plan or free trial:

  • no subscription fee is charged until the free period ends, unless otherwise stated;
  • Storexio may require a payment method in advance where disclosed during sign-up;
  • unless cancelled before the end of the trial, a paid subscription may begin automatically if that was disclosed at sign-up;
  • free plans and trials may be modified, limited, suspended, or discontinued at any time.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, free trials and free promotional access do not create any entitlement to cash compensation, service credits, or damages if the free plan or trial is modified or withdrawn.

4. Subscription Billing

Paid Storexio plans may be billed:

  • monthly;
  • annually;
  • per feature bundle;
  • per usage metric;
  • per add-on;
  • under a custom commercial arrangement.

Where a plan renews automatically, you authorize Storexio or its payment processor to charge the applicable fees on the recurring renewal date unless you cancel in accordance with this Policy and the applicable plan rules.

Storexio may issue invoices, billing notices, and account communications electronically. UAE official guidance on electronic transactions states that electronic documents do not lose legal force merely because they are in electronic form, and the law strengthens the legal standing of digital documents and related trust services. ([U.AE][3])

5. Cancellation by the Customer

You may cancel your Storexio subscription at any time, subject to any minimum term, notice period, custom contract, or enterprise order form that applies to your account.

Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise:

  • cancellation stops future renewals only;
  • cancellation does not reverse charges already paid for the current billing period;
  • your paid access generally continues until the end of the billing period already paid for;
  • no pro-rata refund is provided for unused time in the current subscription cycle.

To avoid renewal charges, cancellation should be completed before the next billing date through the account settings, billing interface, or by contacting Storexio using the official support channels listed in your legal documents or billing notices.

6. Annual Plans

If you subscribe to an annual plan:

  • the annual fee is charged in advance unless otherwise agreed;
  • cancellation during the annual term will normally take effect at the end of the paid annual cycle; and
  • annual fees are generally non-refundable and non-proratable once charged.

This clause should be retained unless you choose to offer a limited cooling-off or goodwill refund policy as a commercial decision.

7. Monthly Plans

If you subscribe to a monthly plan:

  • the monthly fee is charged in advance for each monthly cycle unless otherwise disclosed;
  • cancellation will generally prevent the next renewal;
  • the current monthly charge remains non-refundable after billing, except where required by applicable law or where Storexio approves a refund in writing.

8. Upgrades, Downgrades, and Plan Changes

If you upgrade your subscription:

  • the change may take effect immediately or at the next renewal date, depending on the billing logic of the plan;
  • Storexio may charge a prorated difference for the remainder of the billing cycle, if applicable;
  • fees paid for the old plan are not refunded unless Storexio expressly states otherwise.

If you downgrade your subscription:

  • the downgrade may take effect immediately or at the next renewal date;
  • feature access may be reduced accordingly;
  • no refund is owed for reduced use or removal of higher-tier features during or after the transition, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

9. Setup, Onboarding, Implementation, and Custom Work

Fees for setup, onboarding, implementation, migration, consultation, training, branding, customization, or similar professional services are non-refundable once:

  • the work has started;
  • personnel time has been allocated;
  • deliverables have been prepared;
  • third-party services have been ordered;
  • access, environments, or technical resources have been provisioned.

If a setup or implementation fee is charged to reserve resources in advance, Storexio may retain all or part of that fee even if you later decide not to proceed.

10. Add-Ons and Third-Party Charges

Any amount charged for:

  • third-party integrations;
  • messaging credits;
  • domain registration;
  • hosting upgrades;
  • payment-gateway activation costs;
  • SMS / WhatsApp / email credits;
  • app-store or platform fees;
  • other third-party pass-through expenses

is generally non-refundable once purchased, incurred, provisioned, or consumed.

This applies because such amounts may reflect third-party or irreversible operational costs rather than purely internal Storexio fees.

11. Refunds for Duplicate or Erroneous Charges

Storexio may approve a refund, adjustment, or billing correction where we determine that:

  • you were charged twice for the same subscription period;
  • an incorrect amount was charged due to a verifiable billing error;
  • you were charged after a timely cancellation that had already taken effect;
  • Storexio charged for a service that was never provisioned at all;
  • a refund is otherwise appropriate under applicable law.

In such cases, Storexio may choose, at its discretion and to the extent permitted by law, to provide:

  • a refund to the original payment method;
  • an account credit;
  • a corrected invoice;
  • a replacement billing adjustment on a future cycle.

12. No Refund for Change of Mind or Lack of Use

Unless required by applicable law or approved by Storexio in writing, refunds are not issued for:

  • change of mind;
  • lack of use of the Services;
  • failure to cancel before renewal;
  • dissatisfaction with features that were accurately described;
  • business slowdown or closure;
  • incompatibility with third-party tools not controlled by Storexio;
  • failure by the customer to configure or use the service properly;
  • suspension caused by your breach of the Terms or applicable law.

13. Service Suspension or Termination by Storexio

If Storexio suspends or terminates your account because of:

  • breach of the Terms;
  • unlawful activity;
  • counterfeit or prohibited goods;
  • fraud, abuse, or chargeback risk;
  • security threats;
  • non-payment;
  • regulatory or legal risk,

you will generally not be entitled to a refund for the affected billing period, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

If Storexio terminates a paid service for convenience and not because of your breach, we may, at our discretion, provide a pro-rata refund, service credit, or transition period. That is a commercial choice, not an automatic entitlement, unless required by law.

14. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback, payment reversal, or card dispute without first contacting Storexio to seek resolution, we may:

  • suspend the affected account;
  • limit access to features or data;
  • recover reasonable investigation or collection costs where lawful;
  • contest the chargeback using our records;
  • terminate the Services if the dispute remains unresolved.

Storexio reserves the right to present relevant billing records, account logs, service access records, electronic invoices, and electronic acceptance records in response to a chargeback or payment dispute. UAE electronic-transactions law recognizes the legal force of electronic documents and records. ([U.AE][3])

15. VAT and Tax Treatment

All fees are stated exclusive of VAT unless expressly stated otherwise.

Where VAT applies, it may be added to the amount payable in accordance with applicable UAE tax rules. The Federal Tax Authority states that VAT registration is mandatory for UAE-resident businesses whose taxable supplies and imports exceed AED 375,000, and voluntary registration is available from AED 187,500. ([FTA UAE][4])

If a refund is issued, Storexio may also issue a corresponding tax adjustment, credit note, or revised invoice where required by applicable tax rules or internal accounting procedures.

16. Refund Method and Processing

Where Storexio approves a refund:

  • refunds will generally be made to the original payment method, where feasible;
  • if that is not possible, Storexio may issue account credit or use another lawful method;
  • processing times may depend on banks, card networks, payment providers, and financial institutions;
  • Storexio is not responsible for delays caused solely by third-party banking or payment systems.

Refund approval does not waive any other rights Storexio may have under the Terms, applicable law, or a separate written agreement.

17. Request Procedure

To request review of a refund issue, you should contact Storexio promptly and provide:

  • your full name or business name;
  • account email and phone number;
  • invoice number or transaction reference;
  • date and amount charged;
  • reason for the request;
  • any supporting documents or screenshots.

Storexio may reject incomplete, unsupported, abusive, repetitive, or fraudulent requests.

18. Merchant-to-Customer Refunds

If you are a Merchant using Storexio, you are solely responsible for your own refund, cancellation, return, and exchange policies toward your customers, unless Storexio expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

Storexio may provide technical tools to record or assist refund workflows, but such tools do not make Storexio the seller of record or the party legally responsible for the Merchant’s consumer obligations.

UAE official consumer-protection and e-commerce guidance makes clear that consumer rights and online commercial obligations apply to the underlying commercial relationship. ([U.AE][1])

19. Exceptions Required by Law

Nothing in this Policy excludes any refund, cancellation, compensation, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

Where mandatory legal rules require a refund, reversal, correction, or remedy, this Policy will be interpreted to the minimum extent necessary to comply with those rules.

20. Changes to this Policy

Storexio may amend this Refund / Cancellation Policy from time to time. Updated versions become effective when posted or otherwise communicated, unless a later effective date is stated.

Any change will apply prospectively unless immediate implementation is required for legal, tax, regulatory, operational, or security reasons.
